How to get here
AIRPLANE
The fastest way to get here is by taking a flight from Bali to Bima. Fortunately this route is now operated by both TransNusa and Lion Air, with TransNusa being the preferred carrier as surfboard fees are currently advertised as Rp200,000 per surfboard bag. With Lion Air charging Rp1,000,000 per surfboard, per leg, you can end up paying Rp2,000,000 per surfboard if you have to fly via Lombok. Once you arrive at the airport, it’s easy to arrange a taxi for the 2.5-hour drive to Lakey. While we can’t pre-book taxis due to local regulations, it’s not a problem, as most foreign travelers heading to this airport are going to Lakey Peak. The taxi fare is Rp1,000,000, and we haven’t had any issues with haggling over the price.

*Make sure to book your ticket to the Bima airport as there is another airport in Sumbawa Besar with a very similar name. Flying to this airport will be a 5 hour drive instead of 2.5 hours

For a more adventurous option, consider renting a car or scooter in Bali and driving to Lakey. This journey takes you on a thrilling route, including two ferries and a scenic drive through Lombok and across Sumbawa. It’s the perfect choice for those wanting to immerse themselves in the heart of Indonesia. Along the way, you’ll pass some world class surf spots, making this not just a road trip, but a memorable surf adventure.
Cancellation Policy
Card fee of 3% applies to all cancellations.
Standard rate bookings are refundable if cancelled up to 7 days before arrival.
Long Stay rate bookings are refundable if cancelled more than 14 days before arrival.
Please ensure that you have adequate travel insurance as no refund will be given if you fail to show up for any reason.

SCOOTER
Local vendors can be very persistent with scooter offers when you arrive at the hotel, this is common practice for all tourists arriving in Lakey Peak. No need to feel pressured despite their intensity. Just politely say “Thank you, but our accommodation has already arranged for us.” This usually stops the conversation quickly and respectfully. For reliable scooter rental we recommend only arranging with our manager Dedi, who can correspond on behalf of our guests. Typical cost is Rp100,000 per day.
SURFBOARD RENTAL
The same applies to surfboard rental as with scooter rental. For reliable, hassle free rentals speak to our manager Dedi who will gladly assist you with anything you need.
WIFI
Our hotel is connected through Starlink, providing fast and reliable internet with speeds of up to 50 Mbps. While this ensures a strong connection most of the time, please keep in mind that we are in a remote part of Indonesia, and occasional disruptions may occur. For guests working remotely, we recommend having a Telkomsel SIM card as a backup, as it offers the best coverage in the area. Do note that during rare major power outages, even mobile networks can be temporarily affected.
The Peak cannot be held liable if issues arise, if you desperately require internet, then we would advise against travelling to remote Indonesia.
DRINKING WATER
All rooms are provided with clean drinking water. We use BPA free CLEO 19L bottles.
